Our high-level bag palletizing solutions exceed industry standards with production rates of up to 40 units per minute. Each model leverages different technologies to provide gentle product handling, smooth operation, and increased control.

Easy control over the palletizing machines

Each model is controlled by a programmable logic controller (PLC) that is intuitive and easy to operate. The user interface uses visual elements to simplify operation, fault and alarm identification, and troubleshooting.

Recipes and patterns are stored directly within, providing operators with the ability to edit or create new ones without programming skills. Product changeovers are achieved in less than a minute, with two taps on the touchscreen.

How the APH Series high-level palletizers work

High level conventional palletizer - Premier Tech
  1. The operator selects a pattern or a SKU on the HMI.
  2. A pallet is automatically dispensed to the stacking position on the elevator. A sheet is applied if required.
  3. Products enter the top of the machine via a high-level infeed conveyor. Bag quality control systems can be added at this stage. Non-compliant bags will fall into a trap before moving to the turning device.
  4. The turner orients each unit according to the selected pattern to create rows.
    • The APH-1140 uses a standard device which clamps onto the units to rotate them by 90 or 180 degrees.
    • The APH-1200’s bag turner uses two belts moving at different speeds and directions. This rotates bags without completely stopping them, resulting in increased rates.
    • The APH-1240 uses a servomotor-powered clamp to rotate products with more speed, precision, and control.
  5. When a row is complete, the row pusher gently sweeps it onto the stripping plates to form a layer.
  6. The heavy-duty elevator raises the pallet while alignment bars maintain the layer in place for more stability. The stripping plates open, depositing the products gently on top of the stack.
  7. The elevator is then lowered and the plates close. If required, the layer can be compressed against the plates to level and stabilize it even further.
  8. The forming process is repeated until the pallet load is complete.
