Premier Tech and Bühler Group are now taking their strategic cooperation two steps further. What started with a close collaboration in August 2019, evolved into a Joint Venture in China and ultimately grew to a global partnership for bulk packaging.
Premier Tech’s North American Client Solutions team has officially launched its new YEAR ONE Support Program. The program, which was developed over this past year, aims to provide maximum productivity and reliability from the very beginning of any new installation by mitigating the risks involved in an equipment’s first year of operation.
The program was built on the results of both internal research at Premier Tech and external research in the automation industry showcasing the reality experienced by clients in that first year. Based on these results, it became clear that this period starting right after an equipment’s installation is the most important stage in the journey towards automation and is often disrupted by several risks and issues, such as the learning curve, labor turnover, rates fluctuation and more, regardless of the equipment model or brand.
Although Premier Tech’s Client Solutions teams have always been available to clients from day one, it became clear that there needed to be a program tailored and structured to prevent and address the risks and issues impacting this part of the automation journey. With this in mind, Premier Tech developed the YEAR ONE Support Program to offer the full support of its Client Solutions team in a format that specifically addresses these risks and issues at regular intervals coinciding with their occurrence through that first year of operation.
The true value of the program lies in ultimately allowing clients to maximize their Return on Investment (ROI) and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) as quickly as possible and without compromise. By addressing risks and issues proactively rather than reactively and by providing clients with the tools and knowledge needed to maintain their equipment’s OEE throughout its lifespan, the program also optimizes the equipment’s Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) by minimizing costs long after that first year.
