The legacy manual bagging line required four people and led to product loss from inconsistent weight and frequent spillage. Manual palletizing wasn’t just labor-intensive—it caused musculoskeletal injuries for employees and increased the risk of contamination and giveaway, making it difficult to maintain the brand’s high-quality standards.
Seeking a comprehensive upgrade, Actus Nutrition implemented Premier Tech’s BFH Series (formerly BFW Series) bottom-up filler and an RPF-4111 (formerly AR Series) robotic bag palletizer. The new system brought immediate, measurable results: dust and product handling are now fully contained, drastically improving both cleanliness and product safety—critical for demanding clients, especially in infant nutrition. Maintenance time dropped, uptime soared, and accuracy skyrocketed. Bagging speed jumped from 1.5 to 4 bags per minute, and weight deviation (giveaway) fell so much that the new filler paid for itself in less than two years.
The line now runs cleaner than ever before, with less human contact, virtually no dust leakage, and more stable, predictable production.
