As Quebec’s favorite poultry brand for decades, Exceldor has always put quality and people first. But manual palletizing of 4 000 heavy boxes daily was pushing the limits, posing safety risks and creating strain for the team. Space in the plant was tight, throughput needed to match fast production rates, and each product’s traceability had to be flawless for regulatory compliance and potential recalls.
The decision to automate with two CHRONOS RPZ-910 robotic palletizers from Premier Tech changed everything. The robot’s ability to handle diverse products, record box weights and barcodes, and keep pace with production meant safer, smoother, and more efficient palletizing. Traceability upgrades allow for quicker, more efficient product recalls whenever needed.
