As productivity demands rose and lean methods tightened every process, the manual palletizing step became an obstacle—requiring more operators, causing congestion, and capping output across three diverse product lines.
Partnering with Premier Tech, Fresenius Medical Care installed a highly customized CHRONOS RPL-4000 Series robotic palletizer, a cell so advanced, it’s become a benchmark visited by other major firms. The impact was immediate: daily output climbed from 200–250 to 300–350 pallets, and what once required four operators per shift now needs just two.
