Story
For more than a century, Nestlé Purina has been advancing animal nutrition and fostering stronger bonds between pets and people. In Mexico, Purina’s Guanajuato facility is a testament to that legacy, combining scale, quality, and a clear focus on workplace safety.
To meet its zero-accident target and boost efficiency, Purina invested in four RPL-4111-N (formerly AR-225) robotic palletizers, an RPL-2311-N (formerly RPZ-620) robotic palletizer, and a 300 Series pallet wrapping machine from Premier Tech. The result: a fully integrated line running at the speed they need, with comprehensive safety interlocks and devices in every cell.
Automation has transformed daily operations. Safety improvements are visible across the factory, helping to protect every team member. Flexibility is also now built in: Purina can easily request add-ons or modifications as production evolves, and Premier Tech’s team is open to making improvements happen when possible. With excellent technical support and a line designed for growth, Nestlé Purina continues to set the standard for safe, efficient, and future-ready pet food manufacturing in Latin America.
“The main purpose of installing Premier Tech equipment was to improve our safety indicators.”
