But as demand increased and the industry moved toward digitalization, the third generation of the family recognized the need to lighten the workload and ensure consistent product quality.
Previously, bagging and palletizing 50 lbs potato bags was entirely manual—demanding significant physical effort from the team and often resulting in varying presentation standards from the first bag of the day to the last. Seeking to modernize their process, the family partnered with Premier Tech to install the CHRONOS RPL-1000 Series (formerly AR-215) robotic palletizer.
The impact was quickly felt: production became more reliable, product presentation improved across every shift, and physical strain on team members was dramatically reduced. The installation was seamless, with no time lost in getting up to speed.
