Before partnering with Premier Tech, Two Track Malting operated in a facility with no automation. Manual processes limited throughput and made packaging far more time-consuming than it needed to be. Work that now takes only hours previously stretched across days, creating inefficiencies and making it harder for the team to keep pace with production demands.
The project called for more than individual machines. Two Track Malting needed a right-sized, fully coordinated solution that could fit seamlessly within the available area while supporting the integration of several pieces of Bühler equipment, including the cleaner, mill, and Tubo system. Premier Tech approached the project holistically, beginning with full 3D design and facility scanning so the client could visualize the future layout and validate the setup before installation.
The resulting system brought together automated packaging, robotic palletizing, Bühler equipment integration, and a complete dust control system fully designed, supplied, and installed by Premier Tech. The impact was significant. Two Track Malting can now produce 56 000 pounds in three hours, compared with 20 000 pounds in two days previously, while running the entire plant with just four people. Beyond the measurable productivity gains, the new facility has become a true showpiece—one that reflects the company’s quality standards and its forward-looking vision.
