Canada & USAThe OptoSelector 901 is a full-color sorter for achieving products of the highest quality level.
The advanced software processes individual kernel images and includes size and shape recognition technology as a standard feature.
Defects having the same color as the good material can now be removed by recognizing differing shape characteristics. Similarly, broken or deformed pieces of otherwise good material can also be rejected.
Seed can be inspected based on their translucent effects by combining high-power LEDs with excellent optical components that have high-light transmission.
This combination enables the detection of defects in the inner part of translucent seeds that are not visible from the outside. For instance, it can detect red rice from regular rice or durum from wheat.
While detecting visible light with high accuracy is sufficient for most applications, the OptoSelector also offers a NIR/SWIR option for specialized needs.
This option includes InGaAs sensor-based camera technology for the near-infrared and shortwave-infrared spectrum. By incorporating information from the near-infrared range, the OS 901's ability to detect subtle variations in color can be further enhanced.
